Changing Theme of site

    Hi all,

I got a site that is 4-6 months old and sandboxed for the keywords I needed.
I'm considering changing the web site completely to a different niche.

Will I get penalized by Google for doing this? Would it be possible to get out of the sandbox by building relevant links to my new niche web site?

May seem like a dumb question...

Allan, I can't see how you would be penalised by Google for changing niche, I have done that myself on the domain in my signature - previously was a personal blog, now a blog marketing umm blog.

Your in the sandbox no matter what the niche is - all you can do, is build links and add content and you'll come out of the sandbox within 12 months. I've been through the same experience, but all you can do is wait.
