I know this is a rather strange question, but I'm a moderator on a site that has recently changed to a very dark brown look and it's killing my eyes. Mentioning this to the webmaster hasn't yielded much response so I was wondering if there's anyway for me to change how this site looks to me? I use Firefox and thought perhaps there's some way for me to have an alternate stylesheet to use without it actually being part of the online site.
You want this my friend ... https://addons.mozilla.org/extensions/moreinfo.php?id=60 IE also have one. Have fun
Tam is right. Using that extension you can add a user style sheet and change the site to be more readable. Very useful.
I should have posted this link too ... http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...64-672d-4511-bb3e-2d5e1db91038&displaylang=en for the IE developer's toolbar, also very handy for us web developers
I thank you and my eyes thank you! *goes to check it out* (can't get the Mozilla one to work right now, but might just be my internet or their server being temporarily down) Some people don't think very logically when designing sites...
Mozilla isn't down it seems - just my ISP being it's charismatic self. A friend helped me out to get it. Once again thanks a million, got the site looking saner now - no more headaches for me- sadly the other members won't be as fortunate.
