changing the php being used in apache2

currently my apache server is using php 4.4 ,i want it to use a newly installed php 5.2.6 how can I do it ,I have tried changing the php loadmodule in httpd.conf from php4 to php5 but it is not working somebody help

 

Changing the loadmodule wont do anything if you don't have php5 installed.
What OS are you running?

I have a php 5.2.6 installed in the system ,and it is the current php in the path of the system the OS I am running is solaris

you can use webmin for free control panel or for commercial control panel i recommended you cPanel
