changing the php being used in apache2

    currently my apache server is using php 4.4 ,i want it to use a newly installed php 5.2.6 how can I do it ,I have tried changing the php loadmodule in httpd.conf from php4 to php5 but it is not working somebody help:confused:

    Changing the loadmodule wont do anything if you don't have php5 installed.
    What OS are you running?

    hi The Universes ,

    I have a php 5.2.6 installed in the system ,and it is the current php in the path of the system the OS I am running is solaris

    nimhost ,

    I have the least idea what a control panel for apache is ,I will be very thankful if you can help me understand what a control panel for apache is

    you can use webmin for free control panel or for commercial control panel i recommended you cPanel :)
