    Hi everyone,
My website domain name expires soon, and I don't wish to keep it, I have another domain name on GoDaddy and would like to use that domain name on that existing website on Hostgator is that possible or will I need to start over again?
I've been looking for youtube tutorials but no luck...I'd like your help and advice thanks!

Do you know of 301 redirects?

If you're not bothered about your google ranking you can go into your hostgator account and change the domain pointing to your host, then change the nameservers on your godaddy domain..then the site will be up and running.

Yes it's possible. You would just have to setup the new domain in your hostgator account and move all of the files over to the new domain.
How is your website setup? Is it on WordPress or another CMS?
