well here i got some points to ask from you guys, I hope you would help me.
if i change the crawl settings in the webmaster tools ,will it make my webpage to be crawled with different frequency of time?

and Do you think by just putting a no follow tag in the page will block the cralwer from crawling on that particular webpage?
    :)

The shortest and simplest answer is "No". It just doesn't work like that. If you want your site to be indexed (crawled) more often, you should do some serious link building and to write a new, unique content often. These are the two keys for better indexing and higher positions. Search onl for quality and relevant links to your content.
If you want to block the bot, you should use the noindex tag, not the nofollow :) Another option is to write some robots.txt rules.

Crawl rate refers to the speed of Googlebot's requests during the crawl process. It doesn't have any effect on how often we crawl or how deeply we crawl your URL structure. Check http://www.google.com/support/webmasters/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=48620 for more info

You should place a noindex tag to avoid that page being indexed or you can block that page using robots.txt

If you want to index more pages, and you will change the crawl setting in webmaster tools, it will not effect the crawling status of website.

You can set the "crawl rate" in GWT.
Site configuration -> Settings -> Crawl Rate
