Changing the colors of a trademarked logo and putting it on a blog post. Is this legal?

I want to change the font color of PayPal's logo to greenish, so it'll match the color scheme of my website.

I'm only going to use it in a blog post. Anyone know if this is ok?

I wouldn't advise putting their logo on your blog as it may seem like you are showing endorsement. Maybe a screenshot of their website or a generic image would be better.

I would advise not editing it as is isn't even their logo then, the most I would do is use a black and white version. But then as I say you are including their logo on your blog and you haven't stated anything about the context you are writing in. To be honest it isn't worth changing everything to match your site - that's like Digital Point editing all of our profile pictures and making them green.

Here's a screenshot of the unfinished blog post where the edited paypal logo'll be used in. It's a blog post about reasons to use this blah blah blah service:

I was wondering if it's OK to use a trademarked logo like this in a blog post.

    Sorry for bothering you all.

Seeing as you accept them I don't see why not. You put in the title blog post which confused me a bit. Best of luck with your website!

Donot alter the Paypal logo , rather use their original Logo including then R mark in it , because its Registered & TradeMarked logo & you shouldn't edit or modify it.
Rather use it directly & there is no harm in it.

    Best of luck

It is not legal to alter their logo or modify it to suit your needs, that is the whole purpose of having a logo. Changing it causes confusion and you can most definitely be sued and you will lose.
