Changing Text Links into Photos..... Can this hurt my site?

Right now, my website has a ton of text links.... which definitely helps with SEO for those keywords, as I realize internal anchors, and anchor text in general is important.

However, these text links look VERY CHEESY ... and I know that making image text links will make the link look so much more professional.

However, will thise hurt my SEO on Google????

Is there a way to let the spiders know the internal anchor text on the photo?????

Text links will always be better than image links. If you plan on trying it, name your images accordingly and use alt tags

yep, alt and title tags should work well instead of text links.

they will not work as good as text links, that's for sure ( from a SE point of view) but you can try with a few and see how it goes. Also, use the alt and title tags when putting the image.
