changing text in a Flash banner

Hi All,

Ive seen a template that I want, I can do everything I want with FP03 which I have. However it has a flash banner which I want to keep for the home page. Am I going to have to buy a copy of Flash just to change about 8 words, or is there another (free) way of doing something this simple ?

You can downlload a trial version of Flash at macromedia.com, dont know any other way of doing it without flash...

That should do the trick! Ill go find their site, I just hope it doesnt have the save disabled, ive had that on a demo of software before. Very annoying

 

I think that you can do that with trial..... Don`t worry.

 

That's presuming you've got the original .fla file rather than the .swf. I'm pretty sure you can't edit .swf files.

 

Offcourse he have fla file. I hope so.
You can find few decompresors on net, google a little bit if you dont have original fla file, but think dont work perfect every time.

Many time a have clients ( I do a lot of maintance ) that DIDnt have sourse files, it can be pain in the ass.
