changing server when 301 redirecting

    When 301 redirecting any site, does changing a server has any effect in terms of seo?

    I don't really understand your question.

    If you change servers (keeping the same domain) your links will remain intact.

    If you change domains, you'll need to setup a redirect to the new domain which will keep your visitors and your link juice flowing.
