Hello ladies and gentlemen. Our old graphics designer took a photo of a man and turned it black on Photoshop to like an outline so that we could draw it out on some material. What is the tool in Photoshop to do this? The picture below, the face on the white flag, this was originally a colour photo of the man and changed so we could draw it out and paint it. So for example, the photo above is the one I want to turn black, so we can draw the old man sitting down. What's the tool on Photoshop? I'm sure it's simple but I don't even know the name of what it'd be called to do more Googling. I thank you for your help in.
You can try : Image - Adjustment - Desaturate (Shift + Control+ U) to make white/black image regards, Ridwan Sugi
live trace in illustrator would give you a vector that you can clean up and resize - unfortunately that photo is quite small and gets oversimplified
I can agree with Dave, photo is quite small and gets oversimplified, illustrator is the best option to do this, but I can try it Photoshop check it.
