Because setting the permalink structure does not go through all your internal links (which are static) and change them to the new structure, all your internal links (and backlinks therefore) will be broken. I'm thinking of going the regular expression route where I have something like */\d{4}/\d{2}/\d{2}/* but has anyone else faced this problem?>
