I do not think you can change the account name. I think you can change the personal name associated with the account with a little paperwork. You can set up invoices and payment pages to use with different shopping carts.

For example, I use my business PayPal account with my web hosting service, advertising and software consulting service. I setup separate payment pages for each area within the same account.

Let me know if I can customize your PayPal shopping carts.

A Personal and Premier Paypal account is supposed to be used by private individuals and not by a company. If you have a registered business or company then you should use a Business account.

You cannot change the name on a personal and premier account because under normal circumstances, people do not change their name. However if you have the court documents to approve your name change, you can use that to request for your name to change to your new name.

Remember, you cannot use a Personal Paypal for business or collection of any money associated with sales of goods or provision of services. The personal account is mainly used as a paying account.

If you changed your name legally, you can request paypal to change the name on the account. You can also change the business name (Search for "change business name" in the help section).

If you just want to change the account owners name you cant. You have to open a new account, and close the old one.
