Changing names of msnsearch to live to bing is confusing

Very long time never touch msnsearch only several times redirected by IE to msnsearch then live.com then now bing.com, but when I find hotmail it dissapeared to live.com too. But will this changing names change the essence/content and fate of MS service on the net ? I think hotmail is more appropriate then live.com for email. And for bing.com this reminds me of Friends film series Chandler Bing or Bing Crosby, why not bang.com (big bang).

It's not all that confusing to be honest with you :) Google was pretty awesome even back in the day when it started out, Bing however just sounds weird :s

Microsoft probably wanted to bang the search segment with a new brand name and found a working alternative in Bing!
