Changing my websites content.. How will it affect me?

I have a website that has been running for about a year and half. It is nothing more than a one page site with one game on it. Due to some luck with stumbleupon, and some mediocre search engine results, the site is receiving about 200,000 unique views a month.

I've decided it's time to create something out of this website, and here's my idea.

The domain name, and keywords are all relevant to the one game it currently hosts. My idea is to add a complete arcade script with a full redesign, many more pages, and fresh new keywords. (however the new keywords are all associated with the current keywords, and the two main current keywords still remain, and are at the front of my title tag)

The new arcade site will still feature the current game on the main page and will have link backs and keywords about this game throughout the whole site. So the current content will still be there, however surrounded by a whole lot more.

Once the website is completely tested and redesigned, ready to go, I will make the change. With all the new content, solid keywords, and everything else, will my traffic stay the same? Increase? Decrease? Will this help my current page rank of 0?

Are there any suggestions from you guys? Does this sound like a good idea, or like throwing away something that's already doing good? (The site makes 'decent' money through adsense and amazon. I feel it could do a lot better though)

Thanks for any input you can provide me with. I am by no means an SEO expert. But I plan to take my time with this project, learn a lot, and ensure that I don't screw my self over SEO or traffic-wise.

sounds like a good plan. try it out. if it doesn't work, then go back to your old format.

It's always a good idea to add additional content to your site. Keep building your site to increase and entertain your visitors.

It really depends on how each page is setup in relation to the old design. We can't really decide if what your doing will be better or worse since we don't know what the on page seo before and after looks like. More quality content is always a good thing though.
