A question about adding a physical address to your broadcaste emails........

    For example

    Thanks for reading my email.....

    John Rabbar
    235 Abbey avenue
    Miami
    73253
    United States
    www.MySite64234.com

When setting up an autoresponder email system, the law says you have to state a physical address at the end of each message,

I mean companies like AWEBER, GETRESPONSE, or any others.

My question is does this address have to be the SAME one on the credit card that we are paying the service for? or the address where the website was set up/made?

or can we change the address?

What does this address have to be?

reason being, we are thinking of trasnfering our UK company to a USA one....... so the Autoresponder address will change from a uk one to a USA one.... but the credit card details will probaly stay the same, as we will stil be incharge of advertising/marketing/email from australia, but the website address will change from an Australia one to an America one, so we want to change it on the autoresponder email follow ups too...

    So
a)what does this address have to be?

b)We wish to change our address, what is the best way to do it.... we can do that by editing the control panel, but what should we tell the autoresponder service that we are using ? (they dont like physical addresses being changed)

Get back... (especially if you have done this before, or have the Correct legal knowledge)

    Thanks......

The address needs to be one that the person receiving the email can contact a person in the business. Many businesses have multiple addresses. It just can't be some fake address that has nothing to do with the business.

I know it can be a fake one, Mine will be genuine, a real physical one, but we are just changing company location.

yea, our changed address will be the same as the one that customers can contact the person in the building....

Do you recon the service will be ok with this? if i tel them that we are changing company location...

They should be. As long as that address is part of the company. If you are using a service to do this for you, they will have their own rules and you need to contact them to check.
