Changing icon of an exe file

    hi there,

    does anyone knw how 2 change the icon for an exe file using windows.. not by using any third party software..

    i hve an exe file in a cd and i wanna change itz icon to something else..

    thankz in advance :)

    Just find the icon file location and change the image for something else.

    It's impossible. You only can make a .lnk file and than select an icon.

    Icon stores in .exe so you can find it only using 3rd party software.

    You will need a third party software to do this. There's a free one available, can't find the exact url in my bookmarks.
    Just do a web search for "reshack".

    Don't mess with anyone's copyrights while using this software, or you could be inviting serious trouble.
