changing hosts how to move database

not sure if me in the right forum
but i have a database in bravenet
but my account is about to close and i have another host how do i transfer my database to a new host
or have i got to redo it manually

Export the database with phpmyadmin and import it on the new host.

 

Does Bravenet have phpMyAdmin? If so, it is a simple export/import as dcristo mentioned. Here is a guide to help you:

Hmm, if you don't really know exactly what you're doing, I suggest that you have someone help you. Yes, it's a simple import/export process, but then getting the forum to point correctly to the database in the new location is not also straightforward. Just open a new thread and ask people to bid. Last time the best offer I had was free, but I just needed to leave iTrader. Haha, eventually I paid someone $5, and he did a great job, and is still helping me with other tasks.
