hello, i am moving to a new hosting company. Will be updating my DNS soon but i was wondering if there is anything i need to do on the old server for maybe SEO purposes? thanks,
Don't really know what you mean. But you can avoid loosing some visitors if you leave your files in your old host until your web address resolves completely round the internet. Then you can ask your old host to cancel your account.
No...nothing to do at old host. Probably some visitors would still see data from the old server for some hours...nothing more.
Hmm nope, theres nothing SEO related to moving to a new webhost, just be sure you have uploaded all your site files on the server (locally) before you start to propagate. Best of luck!
okay. sounds good! thanks! i thoughtmaybe there was something to do with like the 301 redirect or something to not lose PR in google? but that sounds good! thanks for the help!
