Changing google business gmail accounts-Possible to keep same gmail account?

    Using custom company email (eg. ) at https://www.google.com/work/apps/business/products/gmail/

    If we are changing domain to wxyz.com , we will create new company email eg. and use it instead of

    Question: Is it possible to change to new email but still keep old emails from previous account ? If it is not possible, does that mean we have to backup/save emails from old gmail account ?

    Would appreciate advice.

    I have a client who does that and it's worked well

    however

    google calendar needs work - if I want to invite her to a meeting using google calendar (which we both use) I have to use her old email address to do it. Google doesn't recognise the new one as a known alias. This used to happen in Analytics and they've fixed it, waiting on the fix for Calendar to get done.
