I have been using adwords to get traffic for a while now, I have been told on here many times to use the money for SEO and get organic search traffic, I finally have the money to begin doing that. Where would you suggest I start with services to buy? bookmarking? articles? I own scrapebox, but have not used it in months (do comments still count?) Im working to read all the past post but I would like to get started on something as I catch myself up I originally started with the intention of SEO and then adwords worked well for me so I kind of gave up
Hi, I would suggest that the first place you start is with your onpage SEO as this can make a very big difference for what should be only a couple of hours work. From there I would start link building. Niche sites are great for this but also focus on other sites as your link building will look more natural that way. I am a big fan of social bookmarking at the moment and I am finding that it yields great results. Just remember not to use the same title and descriptions for all of your submissions. Hope that at least helps to get you started, I'm sure that the other DP members will also have some valuable input here. Let me know if there is anything else that I can do to help as I know it can all seem very daunting to begin with. Kind regards,
I wouldn't start with buying. I would start with reading this sticky and then doing. If you don't already use firefox, download it and then get SEOquake as an addon. This is great for doing searches and being able to analyze sites that rank high for your keywords. You should already be familiar with with the Adwords Keyword Tool, use that to find low traffic, low competition keywords. I tried starting with highly competitive keywords and got no where. Then I started looking for easy keywords. Find a keyword you think might be easy, use seoquake to look at the results for your keyword, look at the Titles of the pages, number of links pointing to the pages, PR of the pages etc. Then do a search for that "keyword in quotes". Try to find one that returns a low number, maybe less than 50k to 100k. Read about on page and off page factors. Take a look at the SEO periodic table. Keep reading, keep building backlinks, make meaningful blog/forum comments, vary your anchor text, keep reading, keep building backlinks, be patient...
at first i would like to suggest you to analyze your site properly. then correct the errors and after correcting the on page problems go for off page optimization.
As you are not well versed in the seo process, what i would suggest is to give the job to an seo firm. They shall complete the seo in a few months.
If you have the money I would look into SENuke. I've used it before and got great results and I know a lot of other people have gotten awesome results from it too. It saves a ton of time and is really an amazing tool for SEO. OnPage SEO is definitely a must also. I don't know if your site is wordpress or not but if it is you might want to also look into Clickbump SEO, a cool little plugin that tells you what you need to do to optimize your onpage seo. I've used these two tools and loved both of them.
If you have knowledge about seo then start doing it form one page and if you don't then hire and seo company
