Just a quick question. I bought a domain for my forum when I was short of cash so I bought a .info

Ive now bought the .com domain for it and I was wondering if their would be any major hassles if I changed the forum over to the .com domain?

Well, you will definitely need to inform your members of the new domain name and you be sure that you have to start at the bottom rank trying to promote and propagate the new domain name.

Actually, what you can do is keep both domain names and redirect the .info to the .com domain name or if you intend to drop the old one, give about 1 year notice to your members of the changeover. Have them get used to the new domain name. Then during the year, put a notification that the new domain name is the .com when your members surf to the .info domain name.

Oh okay. Id like to keep both. How do I go about re-directing it?

Theres no hurry I just thought when I get it changed over to VB it would be great to have a decent domain :)

I would just copy it over or have your webhost change them and redirect of park the old name on the .com
