Hi, One of my client has two websites and we proposed them to re-brand their business and make it one website that lists their both burlinesses. They liked the idea and therefore buying a new domain (registered in 2006) to use it as the new business URL. What steps needs to be taken to ensure all the PR, website reputation and SEO juice is transferred to the new URL. We currently are planning to use permanent redirect from both the old domains to new domain. Is there anything more that can be done to transfer the existing website authority to the new domain. Nope. The custom redirects should do the job. Check in Google Webmasters Tools; there is a good article in there about this if I remember...
