I will be taking a website at: www.website2.com and moving it to a subdomain of another one of my sites.

So the URL of the site will now be (website2.website1.com).

It has tons of backlinks and a decent PR.

Whats the best way to continue to capitalize on the PR, backlinks and traffic once the site is transferred?

It has a lot of top ranking keywords that I want to make sure I keep.

You can do a 301 redirect in the .htaccess file, if you use apache.
