Changing Domain Name and SEO :)

Hey Folks,
I wanted to know what’s gonna happen if the domain information (registrant’s name contact info) are changed? Whether it has any impact on sites ongoing SEO and back links?

Hi Djrishi, I recently changed a couple of domains regarding their registration, I have yet to see any negative issues, more so because the site was just changing hands. I personally don't think this would have an impact on SEO.

It may have an impact if you purchase an old domain and completely change the content because you just wanted the history, PR and existing backlinks.

I think changin whois data like contact information etc will not have any impact on ranking.

 

Changing WHOIS will not get any impact on SERP or Back Links for your site.

 

No. That's off site activities. Admin issues with registrar. It doesnt affect SE placement.
