changing database password... HELP

    How do i change my database password in cpanel. I deleted the current user, then created another user and password but it will not work (error connecting to database). So i then deleted the new user and set back up (created) the old user again and it works fine. Is there some file i need to change (apart from the obvious database.php connection file)

    You have to update the script connecting to the database with the new username/password.

    did you added that user to respective database ?
    on cpanel you have: "Add Users To Your Databases:"
