Changing Blogger Page Title & Link

    Hi guys - hope this is the right section!

    Is it possible to change a blog post http address to a particular name for the purposes of SEO/SERP as a one off?

    For example I post a blog called "thisarticle" and the http address would be
    myblogname.com/2009/02/thisarticle.html

    Can I change this simply to
    myblogname.com/thisarticle.html

    It's a google blog (hosted with blogger) with a custom domain if that makes any difference.

    No.. You can't do that.. Blogger automatically takes a few words from the title and make the url itself.

    tendulkar2 is right, you can't change the URL. Changing the title of the post will however change the page title, which may in turn affect your results in the SERPs.

    Not sure if you can change the URLs but you there are some options for changing page titles - see this changing blogger post titles article.

    that change wouldn't really make a difference I don't think. Just taking out the directory names wouldn't really do much as far as SEO is my thinking, but I could be wrong.

    You can't since you don't have any access on FTP for your blogger blogs.
