I am wanting to edit the adsense size because the highet is to big I want it more going width ways.

What is the best way of changing it?

Either change the ad type to one that is more "banner like" or forget it, you cannot change the size of an ad (and still stay within TOS/Policies)

You could use a 728x90 which would go farther across and wouldn't be as tall. The square one where you have it is a bit out of place as far as the flow of your site, a 728x90 MAY fit in better and would definitely extend farther across.

Perhaps the 468 banner is best size for you.

I have done what you said by changing the size of it to that spec, but now it has moved the website across the page.

Now check the website. You will laugh

Whatever you are doing now I would NOT DO...you are blocking most of the ad by restricting the size of the table the ad is in. DO NOT DO THIS. Let the ad fill out the space that it wants to. If you start cutting off portions of the ad, Adsense may become quite displeased. This is not what I said to do...I said to change the type of ad, not change the box that it is in :)
