    Hi,

    I did it couple of times to be sure and now it does not make sense. When i change the color of the ads, Page CRT and Page eCPM goes up. That's ok, i know page crt is normally changes but what is the relation with colors and page eCPM ?

    About 1 week:
    Page CTR : 1.39%
    Page eCPM : $0.95

    After the changing of the color:
    Page CTR : 2.23%
    Page eCPM : $1.56

    What do you think ?

    Thanks

    Well, colors affect sales my friend. The basis of marketing is using colors that attract people's attention and captures
    their interest.

    How did you change the colors? Was it in a way that made the ads blend in more with the page? Or so that they stood out?

    eCM = 1000 X CPC X CTR
    If your CPC maintain the same and your CTR increase, then your eCPM will increase

    I will see if I can dig up the reference. I had some data from a guy that did sizes, colors, and position. Very complete analysis. Leaderboards and large rectangle formats did the best. On some sites blending the ads worked while on others making them standout worked. I think it really depends on your audience. I know on some sites we operated in the IT area, blending worked better. I suspect they just flowed into the content better. While I have a client on a teen-oriented site where bright colors doubled his CTR.
