Hi, I have this domain which I own but I'm not the one who registered it. And the one that registered it won't give it to me. My domain is page rank 4 and receives 700+ unique hits a day, won't go down to 650 unique hits a day. The one registered this domain gives free domains to all fansites cause they provide free hosting and free domain in exchange for one ad to be put on your site. The have been in business since the year 2007. I really love my domain. And it receives a lot of hits, I get revenue from it through text links and then when you search for a teen disney star, you'll find it on page 2 or 3. But when you search it with the word fansite, it's on page 1 of google and bing. What should I do? Buy my own domain and transfer all content from the old domain to the new one or stay with it and the host of it?

i DONT entirely understand.. for SEO, if you're moving to a domain to a new one, you need to do a 301.. but; you should just host it.. don't copy the content and expect that you're going to get the same results.

If you want to save all SEO performance install 301 redirect. That will be enough.
