i am currently making some changes to my site which has google adsense added to it. Since i am making some design changes, i often refresh it to check whether i am on the right way or not. I know that i could disable the ads and i have done so. However i had refreshed it a number of times before and my page impressions shot up from 15-20 to 82 yesterday for that particular site. \ Should i try to contact adsense and explain them that i am making changes to my site? If yes, then can anyone give me the latest adsense support email id coz i dont think works anymore...i just get an automated response
thanks...i was afraid that they will think that i am trying to create invalid impressions...am very careful in not clicking the ads though...so hope that i will be safe
Me too, when i visit my own sites with adsense i move slower and move around the edge of my site in order to avoid accidentally clicking.
we all make changes to the site design or add new content then visit the site to see how the changes look. you should not be having any problem for few impressions
It's hard not to be paranoid when people keep coming in here saying they have been banned. Anyway, when I didn't know better and put my site on a traffic exchange I sent an email to adsense letting them know - it's better to cover yourself - go into your google adsense account, click contact us at the bottom of the page, then hit - Account Issues -> Invalid Clicks -> Reporting Unusual Activity -> continue -> fill out the message form with all your info - it states on here that they will only get back with you if they think it is necessary (if they think there is a problem)
