Changes to my site getting updated in google?

Hi,

I changed the title of my website from some rubbish to 3 keywords. Its been over a week now and google hadn't picked up the change.

How long should it take?

I'm not too bothered as some sites similar to mine were last cached at similar times. Just wondering how long it should take.

 

Had you tried to get links? One of the best way for SE's to find sites is through links.

 

Indeed, the changes will be made once Googlebot will crawl your site. And the to get frequently crawled you need a backlink from a site that gets its content updated frequently and crawled often. (here on DP for example)

 

Yeah, there should be around 100 or so links to it which I am adding too all the time.

And googlebot has visited my site 7 times this month. Just doesn't seem to be updating in the google listings. Or could this be google from different countries?

if you have enough backlinks, it's time to wait for you.

 

google can be very slow...i changed urls in one of mine and it hat the old ones showing in WMTools for over a month or longer. Give it time. Couple weeks - month.
