I havent been on the forums in a while....

Has anyone noticed any Google Algorithm changes in the past year? I know its all theory, but has anyone seen any proof of any changes ..... i.e. Blog posts are worth less, Inbound links hurting websites, No-Follow giving link juice, etc.????

Then you've missed a lot. They rolled out the panda update and every few weeks a new update is reflected in the SERPs.

Its not that bad, it depends on the sites seo. It only hurts sites that have poor seo activity.

Google updates their algorithm (reported or not) about 50 times a year. But it doesn't necesarily hurt SEO, they're just trying to either make results more relevant, or stop black hat seo tactics.

Aside from algo changes you'll see a lot of changes with Google Places - like the omisison of 3rd party reviews, etc. Also adwords express launched, look that up. Go check it out.

Not too much of a difference, they just try to hack down on black hat most of the time. It may affect seo a tiny bit, but nothing out of the ordinary.

Apart from the duplicate content and link farm penalties, things have pretty much stayed the same, i.e. if you have unique content and are getting quality backlinks you should be fine

It is one of the most drastic change happening in the year after they rolled out the panda update. Content farms totally wiped out and site which they deem not worth it is demoted in the search ranking.

If you are not updated for a year, there are lot of things you need to flashback in Google Search Engine.
