Changes in adsense. PPC differences. Am I the only one seeing this?

I've noticed that for the last week my adsense PPC has lliterally doubled. I went from maybe 6 bucks a day to 12. What I don't understand is my overall impressions have dropped.

It's almost like there was a point where Google changed and started feeding my sites higher paying ads.

I don't buy links, and my sites are 100% legit. one is a news site and the other is a script I wrote.

What I'm asking is, could this be that Google took my site out of value and put it in a more premium category? Does Google do this?

I am not a pro by any means, i'm just trying to understand this a little better.

Wow I guess I hard notices turned off for this thread.

It just surprises me is all. It's been a couple weeks now and the numbers are starting to stabilize here. The problem is since I haven't made any real changes I'm a little hesitant to rely on this to continue.

I'm not complaining i'll say that much. But my sites aren't advertising heavy. I mean they're sites that focus on things and have for awhile. I thought I had stuffed too much in the way of ads but if it's going to work I'm not going to touch it.

    Thanks for the replies
