    Hi,

I changed my host four days ago and after that I lost my rankings in Google. Now I can't find my website in 10 pages although it was located on the first page three days ago. I still have nearly 1500 indexed pages but rank #1 only for my domain name and full page title.

I can't find any possible reason than changing IP of the website beacuse I did not get very very much links in a very short time, did not added any new links to homepage etc.

Has anybody experineced such a situation before and how many days did it take everything to become normal?

I hope it is not a sandbox.

Waiting for your comments, guesses and answers.

i lost all rankings for a few days when i moved hosts because the site wa down due to a DB problem

it took about 3 weeks to get back into the serps

    i wouldnt worry to much

if you have good ranking before you should have it again

is your hosting now in a different country? if so there is a theory that it may affect your rankings in that country

There was no downtime for my website, all moving process last half an hour or so.

They are both located in U.S. but different states. I hope it is caused by something like this.

    Thanks for your answer.

Is it possible when we change the hosting. I thought it will matter only with change in content backlinks etc strange to know that change of host also matters for page rank.
