Ive been hard at work over the last week completly remaking my site. http://ziprl.com Whats Changed New logo New clean looking page layout (i think so anyway) New back end script with the options of registering for free so you can track hits on your links and also edit them. So for example if you make a short link like ziprl.com/free you can change the web page that it points to. Please Take a look and let me know of anything that can be improved. Many Thanks
The only suggestion i have is to put the "login" in the top right with the rest of the links. Other than that looks good.
Sorry, I think the design is too clean. Who is your target audience? Check out my website and the websites I've made (linked from my website) to see if someone like me might be the target audience for this site. Because I don't understand the service. Maybe the people you want will instantly understand it, but I don't get it. If you want more people to use it, consider a more robust explanation on the home page of why to use it and how to use it. You're obviously an expert, and I hate to have negative comments. Hopefully, I'm the only one who doesn't get it.
As noted in an earlier post, I think there needs to be a description of what the site is for or a help link, about link, or something to explain usage and benefit. Tried the advanced options button to try and figure it out, but the text that came up was cut in half and I couldn't figure that out, either! But, I like the logo and layout.
A Few more updates after reading your comments. Logo is now smaller Have moved the login to the same menu bar as the rest of the links. Made the url input bar a little smaller. Added some text. Please take a look http://ziprl.com
