Changed my Facebook URL not it's not redirecting old url to new one?

    Hello i have just changed my Facebook URL but for some reason the old URL is not redirecting to the new one and shows 404 could you tell me how to fix that please:

    OLD URL: https://www.facebook.com/forumboards

    NEW URL: https://www.facebook.com/SEO.SearchEngineOptimization.Forum

    Usually when you change the URL, it changes for good. Meaning someone else can take that URL and use it.

    Facebook does not provide redirects (neither 301 nor 302) for old URLs.

    Man if I would new this before I would never changed my URL some uncool dude said that Facebook will redirect old domain to new.

    Nah FB, doesn't redirect. Once you change your URL, you need to update it everywhere you've listed it.
