Changed my domain name, how do i redirect ?

I own a forum, and i recently changed my domain name from http://abc.info to http://xyz.in

If supposing a user is trying to open ,

http://abc.info/board/new-thread.html

I am supposing there must be a htaccess rule to put in my old domain name root, which can convert the old domain name to my new one ?
