I recently made the mistake of changing my e-mail address in the user control panel. I was not aware there was a technical issue with doing this.

I am referring to the answer given in this thread previously...

    http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=908963

So my DP account (bigbluesky2006) is now stuck in a state of limbo with 13 domain auctions running. I've never seen any warning about changing e-mail address. I'm not saying there are no posts warning of the problem, just that I didn't see any.

Can a mod tell me if it is possible to contact Shawn and if is likely to take my account out of the moderation queue?

Or should I simply abandon my previous DP account which I have taken a great deal of time building up 997 posts and iTrader?

I know creating this second DP account is technically against the rules and I could receive a ban for it. But I've been left with few other options here.

    Thanks

No, it's not possible to contact Shawn about it. As said previously, we don't have a way to reach him directly, obviously have no control over whether or not he goes through the queue, and there's not a thing we can do about it. We know it sucks, but chances are slim to none that you'll have access to your original account any time soon, if at all.

I'll repeat what I've said before - do NOT change your email addresses!
