Change your content, increase your adsense income

most bloggers blog about their passions. This is the reason for their failure. While it may seem interesting to give your views about polar bears dying because of global warming, one must stop to think, what type of relevant ads they will receive because of this topic. Stop catering your blogs to "readers" and Create a blog that caters to "buyers". Create your blogs about subjects surrounding the known top paying keywords. You can still keep your passion blog, but if u take my advice your new blog might earn u enough to save the the polar bears single handed (LOL).

This is the worst advice I have ever read. If you aren't passionate about something, you are doomed for mediocrity.

 

Yup! it matters if you having quality content based websites. It generates relevant ads related to your content & sometimes according to your domain.

 

Allthaclubz.com is sure. But, you need remember: I can not do that I love, but I love that I do.

In other words, you need comprehend that you need like that you do. And, as he said, you can write both blogs/sites.

I think blogging is not only about money or adsense, you should love what you write and get creative satisfaction from it.

 

I think some of you guys are yet to of had the brainwave: why not do both?

Lets say you earn three blogs. Why not dedicate two of them to profitable niches and then the last one to something you enjoy writing about? This way you not only earn money, but also get the pleasure of informing others and getting your actual viewpoint across. Also, if you write posts for the profitable niches first, then you'll have something to look forward to

 

Well id say we all have different opinions, some blog cause they have the passion of sharing their thoughts amongst and their friends and relatives, others blog to earn a revenue from, in such later cases, having different content does help only if u have a high number of readers.

 

If you cater your content to ads, your site is going to come across as very dull and uninspired to readers. Remember, the ads that are displaying are worthless if you lack a devoted base of subscribers/visitors who regularly come to the site and spread word about it around the web. There is always more than 1 factor to consider when doing something like this.

Not really...It's like people in college that major in something just because it has a high compensation. Sure it pays well, but they will most likely be miserable going to work everyday.

 

I disagree as well. Traffic by itself can make you a ton of money! if you have lots of traffic you can get rid of adsense all together and get direct ads if you want.
www.dooce.com is someone blogging about whatever they want. She makes enough money that neither her NOR her husband has to work, even with a large house and mortgage.

Also, some of the most talked about stuff on the net leads to more competition from you which can mean to lower payout etc... Its really in your best interest to write about something you can generate the best content possible on, not try to talk about stuff because you can earn more

You can't make money if you are not passionate . Believe me if you love and tech start a blog on medical , youi can blog for long period or we can't see any quality their only if you work on them . I am blogging from last two years and now i am earning that much from my blogs that sometime i don't work for many days . I just need to update them . Main thing is quality and passion .
