Change URL using Mod-Rewrite

    Hiya,

    I was browsing SitePoint.com today, and stumbled upon a post of interest to me.
    The post can be located using the following URL:

    http://www.sitepoint.com/forums/showpost.php?p=4017000&postcount=32

    I too am extremely interested how to change the URL to a forum like structure, like the following:

    Example:
    www.website.co.uk/forum/topic/post
