Hi all, am a newbie so please be gentle.

I am currenty developing a site where there are about 50 pages of different information so we have and index page index.php that links to sub1.php, sub2.php..sub50.php

I need to know if I can somehow set apache so that the url is always index.php even thought the page is really sub1.php (i need to do this for neatness if possible).

    Many thanks

    Stephen

You want to link index to sub1?

Or do you want sub1 to become index?

Ask your webhost to add sub1 in as another index. They should know how :)

    thanks for the rapid response.

I would like the page sub1.php to be displayed but the url to read index.php, there is no need for the visitor to the site to know that they have navigated away from the original index.php
