The only listed site I have with DMOZ is my personal blog Q's Wire... and I changed the url from a sub directory to a sub domain over the summer. I requested an update to the listing but it has not been updated. Anyone know how to expediate the process? Q...
If you actually do a search through these threads about ODP, you will find there is NO way to expedite anything that happens at ODP. We are all volunteers and get to things as we can. It's as simple as that. That being said, you can TRY the Update Listing link on the page you are listed. Most of the time updates are handled with priority.
The ODP listing for Q's Wire was changed from http://qisoftware.com/qblog/ to http://qblog.qisoftware.com/ on 21 November 2007.
Changes made on the editor side don't immediately regenerate on the live directory. The change may not have been visible when you checked. No biggie. Glad it worked out.
Do we see swedal spending his spare time looking at sites and listing them for no material reward? If we do not see op doing that, here you have the reason for ODP not being being able to expedite all its submitted sites.
