Change the Sidebar Background color in the default wp theme

    I just want to make the side bar in the default wordpress theme (kubrick) a different color! Also I would like to make the text (sidebar) a different color also.

    The whole background is an image including the content area, sidebar and border. You will need to edit the image to change the sidebar background.
    /wp-content/themes/default/images/kubrickbg-ltr.jpg
