Change reputation system

    I expect when Shawn set the reputation in DP he never planned on the forum being so big and active. He never added any extra rep image blocks or perhaps set the exponential rep counter to take into account that some members would have thousands of reputation points.

    I think the reputation should be extended either by -

    adding more rep images at the end of the current series (perhaps another color like blue).

    OR

    Increasing the reputation points needed for each block. So perhaps you only get your final block at 10,000 rep points or something like that?

    Its no major upgrade to the forum but would be nice to those members who have been at full rep for ages. It wouldn't take long to do either, nor cause any database stress.

    The real value of the reputation system is when members apply both positive and negative points to member posts objectively, instead of clutching on to each point like it was green gold.

    I give out plenty rep. The second purpose of the rep system is to show guests and other members who has been putting in the time and effort to make decent posts, and who has been rewarding them for that.
