    Hi Everyone

I have a home security website that has been up for a little over a year.

    http://www.homesecurityrelief.com

Do you think it would be ok if I changed the layout of the site to a wordpress site?

Or should I just make another home security site and link this one to my new one.

The reason I want to just change the layout is because I have put alot of work into that site, just have not seen many results.

    Thanks
    Edson

are you running this page on a cms/script?

I would just go for a redesign then if not I would create a wordpressdesign and install it on the space where you got your hompage now

Right now, its on a css style page.

So deleting the whole thing and transfering domian names to another host would be a good or bad idea?

I really want to get this set up in a wordpress form but I dont want to have google spank me for it :)

That may not be a bad idea. Maybe you could also compare the two on their performance.

Hmm, your Google page rank is 2, which is hardly stellar, but still 2 more than a new site would start off with.

On balance, I would probably re-use the existing domain, set up Wordpress with a nice new design, and transfer whatever of the old content is worth keeping (which may not be much). Then start blogging away -- an article every day if you can manage it, but at least 2-3 a week.

What both Google and site visitors love more than anything else is relevant, regularly-updated content.
