Hi I own a popular psp forum www.pspmod.com and I want to change the forum to more than just PSPs. I have added new forums for PS3 / WII / Xbox and so on, but im not to sure wether to change my domain name as well. Im thinking of changing it to something like www.console-mods.com but am no to sure this is a good idea as everyone knows my old site pspmod.com but not my new one. Traffic will not be a peoblem as im going to 301 redirect everything, im just worried im moving away from an established domain name. what do you guys think?
I suppose you need to use 301 redirect if you wish to save all SEO efforts which were made for your previous domain name.
