change expires headers for google analytics

    Hi,

    I try to site speed up for my client site and for that I need to set Add Expires headers.

    I almost done all things for site speed up and I set expires headers for all my js, images favicon etc.

    But here I can't set expires headers for google analytics code and when I check Yslow its shows me like below.

    There are 2 static components without a far-future expiration date.

    * (2011/8/26) http://www.google-analytics.com/ga.js
    * (2011/8/26) http://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/show_ads.js

    Any one has idea how can I change Expires headers for above both js file.
    Please help me to solve this issues or provide guide line how can I do that.

    You can't change the expire headers from pages that are not situated on your site.

    Don't worry though. There is no need to either. Google analytics is included in most of the webpages. So even if the code expires quite quick, the change that they need to be reloaded are quite small.
