Hi, I have the following HTML form, I want to use to let the visitors choose how to sort jokes on my jokes site (ignore the text). <form name="form1"> </br> Ordonează bancuri după: <select style="font-size:12px;color:#006699;font-family:verdana;background-color:#ffffff;" name="menu" onChange="location=document.form1.menu.options[document.form1.menu.selectedIndex].value;"> <option value="">Alege</option> <option value="http://localhost/wordpress/category/<?php single_cat_title(); ?>/">Data adăugării (Default)</option> <option value="http://localhost/wordpress/category/<?php single_cat_title(); ?>/?gdsr_sort=thumbs&gdsr_order=asc">Voturi: Crescător</option> <option value="http://localhost/wordpress/category/<?php single_cat_title(); ?>/?gdsr_sort=thumbs&gdsr_order=desc">Voturi: Descrescător</option> </select> </form> Code (markup): My problem is that, after a value is chosen by the visitor, the dropdown value returns to the first value of the list (it opens the page it should but the value displayed in the dropdown is not the one selected by the user. What I want is that after the selected page is loaded the dropdown should display the option selected. For example, if the second option is chosen, the dropdown should display 'Voturi: Crescător'. How could I achieve this? Thank you!
I attached a screenshot of the site as it's currently hosted on my computer and it's not available online. At the top of the page you can see the dropdown menu I was talking about. It should now display 'Voturi: Descrescător', because the jokes are sorted descending by the number of votes. But it displays instead the first value from the list..
