Change/ add a new keyword to google

I noticed today when i search my name it gives me an alternate spelling for it. I was wondering how long it will take Google to realize when my name gets searched it is not spelling mistake.

 

One of my sites has been listed with Google since 2002, every time you type in that sites name it still shows an alternative spelling to it. I doubt they will ever fix though.

 

I think the only way to fix it is to make your site/name popular enough in regards to search volume. If enough people are searching for it, Google should start to think it is the right search.

 

It can be nice but difficult trying to focus on the first main keywords because this way, the sites will be ranking good for the similar terms and other additional words as well.

 

I am not sure, but I observed this for my site. When Google see your site name [ just name but link ], used many times on different pages on the internet, it then will stop showing the alternate name or spelling.

 

Usually all of my websites and domains which are not a real word in the dictionary took around 2/3 months to get recognized by G.

 

When you are famous they will likely fix it.

 

It would take a lot of effort to convince Google!!!)

 

you need to beat the names similar to yours. the more back links you got, the higher the chance

 

I think they never do that. Should they?
