Hi everyone again, Although not actually a Competition this time I didn't know where to put this and it will end up providing the best person for the job with $$$... Okay, I have started what is known as a "Challenge Coin" Business, I am not sure if there are many Military or former Military here in DP, but if there are then you will know what this is. What I need is someone who is capable of putting several designs from basic ideas/logos etc. with their own style into decent looking Coin designs, we will receive coin orders at ukchallengecoins.com customers will tell us what they would like and we will work back and forward with them until they are happy with their design, if someone feels capable of this can you let me know and show me a bit of what you can do here. Some designs will be Odd Shapes but most will be for circular coins. We are good with the Business side of things just not with the actual design stage so we need someone to do this for us, to start with the coin orders will be every week or so but this will build and will become quite busy into next year as we build our coin portfolio so it could be a steady number for the right person. Whoever we choose must be happy with and be able to turn simple ideas into good ideas transferred onto a Coin Design, the designs below are the finished product of two separate coins we have produced so far. You will be paid for EVERY Final Design made. Some examples below of our design stages:
Wow, Its seems quite simple, You have to take a existing template and make it look 3D with photoshop, am I right? Can you send me some templates and Ill do it and show you.. Then we can move on.. Thanks
Whoever can do it, I will send you various ideas from the customer and it will be down to you to come up with a decent design, they will give us their Logos and what writing they want etc. and then it's down to us to make it into a decent looking design to turn into a metal coin. Does anyone think they can do this? payment for each design that is done that the customer is then finally happy with, we will then pay you... Does this make sense? I am not asking anyone to do a specific design here I am asking if going by the above anyone here knows they are more than capable and willing to do these type of designs? For instance people might want a Unit Coin, sports club, scout group done or a Motorcycle Club or even a Company Design or Business design front and back etc.
I guess there is no one capable of this then? We are going to pay $50 per finalised and approved by the customer, designs.
I'm a 2d vector designer & feel confident that I can do this, However since we have never had any business dealings in the past & this is a work for hire type job I am a little hesitant to agree. I think others here may feel the same way, as too many times designers do the work & get burned later, which is why normal services (non-contests related) are paid upfront or at least 50% retainer until the client & designer become comfortable with each other & establish a billing process. Hi Scorpionagency, If you have a look at my Website Here you will see we are very genuine, we've started to get in orders from people but the actual coin manufacturer does the current designs but they really do require us to tell them every little detail, they seem to have very little imagination and they are 7 hours ahead of us so it's a full day before we can get the next changes done and shown to a customer, we could certainly pay you up front 50% and pay you when the customer is happy with the design that isn't a problem and actually sounds very sensible. Do you have any examples of your work anywhere online?
Okay this has raised its' head again, I am in need of the above, someone who can take our ideas and come up with Challenge Coin front & rear designs and make changes if neccessary. We will pay $10 upfront and then if/when an order is made by the client we will pay a bonus relevant to the size of the order, we have had recent orders of up to 3000 coins, so you would earn a few $100's for such an order. In need of someone asap as we have an order for a British Ship just in.
